Kids with Heart National Association for Children’s Heart Disorders, Inc. is a non-profit corporation organized to seek out children who have Congenital Heart Disorders and/or be acquired in childhood. Kids With Heart NACHD, Inc. provides support, education, & informational materials to families to help them in making decisions regarding their child’s care. We provide parent matching while compiling & processing patient-member data using our National Database on Congenital Heart Defects.

      Another of our strong missions is the pursuit of getting Congenital Heart Defects recognized as the #1 birth defect among the general public.  According to the March of Dimes statistics, Congenital Heart Defects are the most common of all birth defects as well as the #1 cause of death from a birth defect.  Yet there is very little public knowledge regarding congenital heart defects, the effects this chronic illness has on the child &/or their family or adults who are surviving with congenital heart defects & the issues that they must contend with.

      We are striving to achieve these goals by networking all local support groups throughout the United States. For this purpose, we maintain a National Database of Local Support Groups for Congenital Heart Defects & will link families to one in their area, if available. We maintain a National Database of families affected by congenital heart defects, whether they are adult congenital heart defect survivors or families of children with congenital heart defects.   

     Kids with Heart NACHD, Inc. was the first National organization dedicated solely to the concerns of patients & their families with Congenital Heart Defects.  Kids with Heart NACHD, Inc. does not charge any membership fees. All donations are on a voluntary basis.
