KSN has been providing quality support to Queenslanders impacted by chronic kidney disease since 1981. Our dedicated team of volunteers, many of whom are kidney patients themselves, have assisted kidney transplant recipients, people undergoing frequent lifesaving kidney dialysis and people who have suffered end stage kidney failure. KSN specialises in door-to-door transport for patients undergoing dialysis and on-going support services for those impacted by chronic kidney disease. Our mission is to raise awareness about the disease while supporting those already living with it. 

As we do not receive any government funding our transport service is reliant on Volunteers, donations and is partially funded with revenue from our 4 Op Shops located across Mackay. KSN not only provides support to those affected by the disease, we also support the wider community by offering volunteering opportunities in our op shops, support groups and as volunteer drivers. We are Centrelink registered support the physically and intellectually disadvantaged and those of senior age by giving opportunity to volunteer, resulting in improved mental health and connections within the community.
