Just A Horse Rescue & Sanctuary is dedicated to promoting the horse/human relationship.  We offer our sanctuary to people of all ages wanting to learn about horses, grooming them, helping with chores, taking basic riding lessons, learning liberty, or just spending time in the pasture with them.  We also have community days, such as our Halloween event, giving children the opportunity to spend time with horses and providing fun activities for them. We feel horses can play an essential role in strengthening mental health and are in the process of becoming certified in Equine Mental Health Services. We have a strong Board of Directors that support our mission to "provide all horses in our care a safe, respectful and natural environment; to provide the care necessary for them to obtain their highest functioning level, promote understanding, respect and positive animal/human connections and to assist in the end of life process humanely and with dignity."
