The ICC aspires to a Canada where immigrants stay, become citizens, and contribute to their fullest potential. We enable newcomer communities through three main programs:

1. The Canoo Access Pass, delivered via mobile application, provides over 815,000 verified permanent residents and new citizens (half of them children) with free access to over 2,000 of Canada’s best arts, culture, and nature experiences. It’s a high-scale experiential welcome to Canada that boosts belonging, social capital, optimism, and life satisfaction in the crucial early years after arrival.

2. Ideas and Insights is increasingly Canada’s primary centre of expertise on immigration and citizenship. Our research and public opinion polling are leading a shift in the discourse. For example, our 2023 report, “The Leaky Bucket”, exposed plummeting newcomer retention, sparking a nationwide discussion on the subject garnering over 70MM media impressions.

3. Building Citizenship delivered 60 enhanced citizenship ceremonies annually. We swore in more than 39,115 new Canadian citizens!
