The Humane Society of the Delta (HSD) is a 501c3 non-profit, no-kill organization formed in March of 2008 as a result of the compassion of local concerned citizens, who recognized the immediate need to advocate for the humane treatment of animals. We operate solely on donations (tax deductible) from people like you.
Our mission is to promote humane treatment of animals, and finding good homes for unwanted, displaced or abandoned dogs and cats. We strive to educate the public about how to be a responsible pet owner which includes spaying and neutering to help control the animal population.
We work to accomplish our mission by sponsoring spay-neuter clinics, conducting transports, attending community events, and collaborating with local officials.
