Houston Rabbit Resource (HRR) is a Houston-based nonprofit improving the welfare of domestic rabbits through rescue, foster care, spay/neuter access, and education. HRR places rabbits in safe, prepared homes; delivers owner education via Bunny Basics; partners with veterinary providers; and engages the community through outreach events and low-cost services. HRR’s next milestone is establishing a dedicated shelter and resource center to expand intake capacity, clinics, and public programming for the Greater Houston area.

What we do

• Rescue & foster placement for domestic rabbits

• Adoptions with prep and support (no impulse placements)

• Spay/neuter access and partnerships with vet teams

• Education: Bunny Basics course + ongoing coaching

• Community outreach: events, clinics, and volunteer opportunities

• Long-term goal: a central shelter & resource center in Houston
