House of Hounds is a compassionate 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing and rehoming hounds and other animals in need. We pride ourselves on being volunteer-run and foster-based, allowing us to provide individualized care and attention to every furry friend that comes into our care. We do not have a facility, and depend on our fosters to house our animals, both short term and long term. While our main focus is on hounds, we firmly believe that every animal deserves a chance at a loving home. Therefore, if a foster is willing to welcome an animal, we gladly step in to help. Our mission revolves around finding forever homes for these animals, ensuring they get the care and attention they deserve. To achieve this, we provide comprehensive medical care for each animal. From veterinary check-ups to spaying or neutering, vaccinations, heartworm testing, microchipping, and any other necessary treatments – we leave no stone unturned in ensuring their well-being. House of Hounds Rescue is fueled by the generous support of the public. We rely on donations to carry out our vital work, and 100% of every contribution goes directly towards helping these animals in need. Our commitment to transparency and accountability means that donors can trust that their support truly makes a difference in the lives of our rescued animals.
