HOPE Coalition works with ordinary people facing extraordinary trauma: domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, and the struggle to meet basic needs. When individuals come to us, they are often frightened, confused, feeling alone, and in need of assistance to rebuild their lives. Our advocates walk alongside people providing the resources, empowerment and guidance they need to heal and move forward. HOPE serves an average of 2,000 people annually in Goodhue and Wabasha counties in Minnesota. We are the sole provider of critical services for domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault, and a primary resource for those lacking basic needs in our area. The Haven of Hope, our domestic violence shelter, welcomes people from anywhere in Minnesota—and even out of state—when their safety is at risk. All of our services are provided free of charge.
