Established in 2009 by family and friends of Homaira Rahman as an enduring tribute to her, HRF is a non-profit 501c3 charitable organization dedicated to supporting the most vulnerable of Afghanistan – its orphans.

HRF is a humanitarian organization that recognizes the need to preserve and protect a child’s right to an education and promotes their development.

Our mission: To empower orphaned children in Afghanistan, primarily through education and by meeting their basic needs.
