Our primary work involves the rescue, rehabilitation and release of wild European hedgehogs. We take in unwell, injured adult hedgehogs, underweight autumn juveniles and we treat them before releasing them back to their origin or another well chosen, safe environment. We also hand rear abandoned hoglets, wean them, train them and then release to supported gardens. We also carry out hedgehog education programmes by going into schools and clubs to give talks and undertake activities help people understand hedgehogs and their plight. We have undertaken several conservation projects in our local community.
