GLADD (Grieving Loss After Death and Dying) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making grief support easier to access for anyone experiencing the death of someone they love. Our mission is simple: no one should have to grieve alone.

We provide a free bereavement support hotline, grief education, support groups and classes, and access to trained grief professionals. Our programs address many types of loss, including the loss of a spouse, parent, child, sibling, friend, or pet, as well as loss related to violence and the unique grief experienced by first responders and frontline professionals.

GLADD is working to remove the barriers that often prevent people from receiving grief support—whether those barriers are cost, location, scheduling, or simply not knowing where to turn. Through virtual programming, community partnerships, education, and direct support, we aim to meet people where they are and ensure they have somewhere to turn during one of the most difficult periods of their lives.
