Today, women are serving in the military in record numbers, representing more than 16% of active-duty military and 11% of veterans. While strides are being made to increase the representation of women in the military, the support services tailored to address the unique challenges faced by women veterans during their transition to civilian life still lag significantly behind.Foundation for Women Warriors understands and is at the forefront of addressing the challenges that women veterans face in transition to civilian life by offering comprehensive support services and resources to the historically underserved and growing population of women veterans. FFWW provides emergency financial assistance, childcare assistance, financial management education, essential household goods and baby supplies, professional development education, as well as connections to partner organizations for external areas of need, such as mental health counseling, legal assistance and employment.
