We collect fresh food from supermarkets daily and repack into nutritious fresh food hampers and distribute as a free service to over 80 charities in Perth. Many people doing it tough need fresh food to assist with the many issues they experience from mental health to their physical health. Food Rescue's other service is an initiative in the Perth CBD where two cargo carts are pushed by corporate volunteers and collect over 40,000 items of unsold food from cafes and deliver to charities that same day for them to hand to the clients who are food insecure.
