The Emilio Nares Foundation’s (ENF) mission is to help families navigate through their child’s journey with cancer and other life-threatening diseases.We are dedicated to providing equitable healthcare access and promoting the well-being of underserved communities in San Diego, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Imperial Counties.We do this through our Comprehensive Care Initiatives, which are structured around five key program pillars: Family Resource Center: Bilingual support for accessing the healthcare system and resources like food, housing, legal aid, and mental health services.Ride with Emilio: Reliable, sanitary transportation for immunocompromised children to and from medical appointments.Emilio’s Snack Bags: Hospital-approved nutritious snacks for children in treatment.Creating for Hope: Therapeutic and entrepreneurial opportunities for families.End-of-Life Services: Assistance with funeral costs and immediate needs for grieving families.To date, ENF has served over 11,000 families and its bilingual programs remain a vital resource for the Southern California.
