We provide care and a forever home to the farmed animals we rescue, while educating others on the plight of these animals and the changes that can be made in order to stop supporting cruelty. Donations are key in providing food, shelter, and medical care for the animals we rescue. We also are in touch with the many other sanctuaries in the Pacific Northwest through a social media group to increase our odds in rescuing animals in need, therefore if we don’t have the resources for one rescue, then another sanctuary may have. This is what the world of rescue is all about. Reaching out to find placement, even when we might not have the room ourselves. All of our board members, and volunteers are unpaid, and do the work from their heart, selflessly. All donations are tax deductible because we are a 501(c)(3) organization who relies on donations for the direct care of our residents. We work hard to give the residents the best life possible, and that includes good nutrition, fresh water, a clean and safe shelter with room to enjoy life. As well as a concern for their well-being and emotional health. It’s hard work but i consider it a privilege to be there for them, and to be a part of their journey.
