The Texas VFW Foundation provides resources, including financial assistance grants, to qualifying Texas veterans and their families.  Our Veterans' Assistance Programs focus on providing direct financial assistance for basic living needs to prevent homelessness, eviction, disconnection, repossession, and/or cancellation.  We try to provide enough support to pay for 30 days' worth of their most basic living needs when affected by events through no fault of their own.  Reasons can include pay issues, disasters (man-made/natural), under/unemployment, accidents, loss of income, discharge, reintegration issues, and more.  Another primary focus is on VFW Posts.  They are safe havens for our veterans and their families as well as community centers.  As such, the Texas VFW Foundation provides reimbursement grants for necessary repairs to keep their doors open to provide the services and safe haven they provide.  We are veterans and family members of veterans committed to "passing the ammo".  Please contact us to find out how you can help veterans and their families in need dig their way out of their hardship/trench.
