The Dearborn County Clearinghouse is more than a food pantry; it is a lifeline for families across our community. With locations in Aurora and Lawrenceburg, and beyond, the organization provides accessible, dignified food support to individuals and families facing food insecurity. 

In 2024 alone:

• 44,608 food services were provided to individuals in need

• 14,760 weekend food bags were distributed to 350 children through the Sacks of Snacks Program

• 285 families were served monthly through the Mobile Pantry

• 80 seniors received monthly food boxes 

The Clearinghouse also supports high school pantries, summer meal programs, and holiday meal distributions throughout Dearborn County. With rising cost-of-living expenses, more families than ever are turning to the Clearinghouse for the first time. Many are working families, seniors on fixed incomes, single parents, and individuals who simply cannot keep up with increasing grocery costsFunds raised through sponsorships and auction donations ensure:

• Children do not go hungry over weekends.

• Seniors have access to nutritious food.

• Families experiencing temporary hardship have stability.

• The pantry can continue to meet growing demand without turning neighbors away.
