Dark Horse Rescue Ranch is a Christ-centered refuge in Cleveland, Tennessee, dedicated to bringing healing, hope, and restoration to both horses and people who have walked through hardship, trauma, or seasons of feeling forgotten. We rescue, rehabilitate, and retrain horses especially those overlooked, abandoned, or misunderstood while pairing their journey of healing with the stories of youth and women who are walking through their own struggles.

Through faith-based sessions, horsemanship, mentorship, and the quiet strength of a horse’s presence, we create a safe place where brokenness meets purpose. Every interaction is grounded in compassion, patience, and the belief that God redeems what others cast aside. Our ranch provides riding lessons, equine-assisted discipleship, and a nurturing environment where individuals can grow in confidence, identity, and their relationship with Christ. We offer scholarships to underprivileged children as well.

At Dark Horse Rescue Ranch, we believe the “dark horse” isn’t the one who’s too far gone. It’s the one God is preparing for a comeback.
