DAISI Services Limited
About us
Help DAISI help people like Bridie and Roger Roger was involved in a car accident. He lost a limb, acquired a brain injury and his hearing was impaired. He was keen to get back to work and wanted to start a new career but had been struggling to gain any employment because of his disability. Frustrated by the barriers he was experiencing Roger contacted DAISI. DAISI connected Roger to a local employment agency and enrolment in two courses. A few weeks later, Roger visited DAISI again to let us know he was studying and really enjoying his new classes, and to thank the DAISI team for their help. "I cannot be more grateful for what DAISI has done for me and how the stress of it all has lifted. I can highly recommend DAISI and their service to anyone who is struggling for answers about the disability sector and the NDIS," Roger said. Bridie has ageing parents who needed more support than she could provide but were resisting receiving outside help. Her dad was then diagnosed with cancer. Bridie was at a loss about how she could get the assistance her parents needed. She phoned DAISI’s 1800 800 340 information service seeking help. We listened to her story, gave her information about the services available to her and her parents and supported her to access them. Bridie emailed DAISI later to say: “Thanks heaps, your search makes it much easier and I also spoke with MyAgedCare which was helpful and [an assessor] will be with mum and dad tomorrow!!" Your donation to DAISI makes a real difference to people’s lives. Help us assist individuals like Bridie and Roger and build stronger communities.
