Conservation Volunteers New Zealand
About us
Founded in 2006, Conservation Volunteers New Zealand offers opportunities for volunteers to join projects throughout New Zealand. We have offices located in Auckland and Wellington in the North Island and Christchurch and Punakaiki in the South Island. Our programs offer volunteers the chance to learn and apply new skills - while having a great time on social, fun activities which make a real difference to the environment. We provide help to land managers who need assistance to complete conservation projects. We assist National Parks, private conservation reserves, individual landholders, local councils etc. We have several native tree planting programmes: Punakaiki Coastal Restoration Project on the west coast of the South island. Atiu Creek Regional Park on the Kaipara Harbour. A Forest at the Heart of Wellington in the central Wellington Town Belt on Mt Victoria.
