Life with blindness should be no different.

Sight loss can happen to anyone, and when it does, everything changes. Life’s everyday tasks propose new challenges - individuals need to learn new ways of living independently in a sighted world. New techniques must be learned for everything, from reading and eating, to completing schoolwork to traveling independently, to enjoying the outdoors.

CNIB Newfoundland and Labrador aims to empower people with sight loss to lead independent, active lives and chase their dreams by offering innovative programming, irreplaceable peer supports and powerful advocacy. CNIB empowers people of all ages impacted by blindness to follow their dreams, destroy barriers to inclusion, and live the lives they choose.
