We raise funding to establish and support Hope Squad in our local schools - for youth suicide prevention and awareness.  Hope Squad is a peer to peer organization made up of those nominated by fellow students who are good listeners, kind and helpful to others.  They are trained to look out for students who may be at risk for suicide, self harm, bullying and other mental health issues. They seem to get another adult involved to get that student intervention.
