Christian Credit Development (CCD) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth and families in underserved communities, particularly in the 19132 area of North Philadelphia. Founded on the principles of faith, hope, and service, CCD is committed to breaking cycles of poverty and promoting sustainable change by addressing pressing issues such as career development, technical training, and food insecurity. Our Mission is to equip young people with the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to build successful, self-sufficient futures. By fostering economic empowerment, providing career readiness training, and engaging youth in community service, we aim to transform lives and uplift neighborhoods. The Need: The 19132 community faces significant economic challenges, with high rates of poverty, unemployment, and food insecurity. Many young people in this area lack access to educational resources, job training, and positive engagement opportunities, which can lead to a cycle of hardship and limited prospects. Our Programs address these issues through a holistic approach: - Career Awareness & Vocational Training: Offering workshops, internships, and mentorship programs that prepare youth for the workforce and equip them with practical skills. - Food Insecurity Relief: Conducting community service projects, food drives, and nutritional education to support families in need and empower youth to give back to their community. - Community Engagement: Encouraging positive youth development through service projects that foster leadership, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility.
