Chapel Lodge Standardbred Rescue and Rehabilitation are a NFP/ Charity in South Australia supporting the Harness Racing industry. Chapel Lodge takes in Standardbred’s recently retired from racing or training in order to provide a career as a riding horse in a forever family environment. From time to time we do also Rescue Standardbred’s that have found their way into unfortunate situations. Upon acceptance into our program Standardbred’s are thoroughly checked and any medical problems noted and vet treatment obtained along with regular deworming , dental and farrier. Along with weekly feed this all adds up. Chapel Lodge do not receive any government or industry funding so your donations are critical to the survival of our program .
