About us
Changing Our Futures, operating primarily through MakeChoice.org, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2014 by CEO Dr. Reena Gupta. Operating with an annual budget of under $150,000 and relying entirely on volunteer dedication, the organization allocates 97% of its funds directly to its mission rather than administrative salaries.
Mission and Core FrameworkThe organization operates under the motto "My Choice = My Future" and seeks to empower individuals to make informed decisions that lead to longevity, well-being, and fulfillment. Instead of treating issues after they arise, the charity focuses on root-cause prevention. The methodology is structured around three core pillars:
Self-Discovery: Users take advanced personality assessments to understand themselves, track personality shifts over time, and identify early warning signs of personal struggles.
Stronger Relationships: The platform offers compatibility tools to help users analyze and strengthen connections with family, friends, and coworkers to prevent relationship breakdowns.
Maximizing Potential: An AI-driven pathway program matches individuals with careers suited to their specific personalities and strengths, ranking options from 1 to 5.
MakeChoice.org: A 100% free online platform that requires no Google or Facebook sign-ins, shows zero ads, and ensures complete user anonymity.
Choice Rx: A personalized solution engine built into the platform that addresses 152 specific issues—such as depression, anxiety, addiction, and OCD—with over 500 treatment choices. It suggests treatments that have historically worked for users with matching personality types.
Youth & Community Programs: In-person and hybrid initiatives provide career counseling, tech and STEAM education (including AI and edge computing), financial well-being classes, and CPR training.
Community Aid: The organization actively coordinates free meal distributions for homeless individuals, as well as toy, book, and clothing drives for underprivileged children.
The charity serves all ages and genders, with a primary focus on youth, young adults, first-generation students, and underserved communities in the Bay Area.
Services and platforms are accessible in English, Spanish, Hindi, and Gujarati.
The online platform supports over 15,000 monthly active users globally.
