CB Seed Foundation is empowering underserved Memphis youth by lifting them up through the resources, mentorship, and many first-time experiences and opportunities necessary for envisioning bright futures, learning through real life experiences, and surpassing their perceived limitations - fostering personal growth, leadership skills, and economic mobility, while enabling participants to become agents of change within their home, schools, cyberspace, and communities.

Marginalized youth in Memphis too often face disproportionate systemic barriers such as high poverty, discrimination, limited access to quality education, and lack of mentorship. These challenges hinder their ability to realize their potential and contribute meaningfully to society. By tailored-investments in their development, this program will address these inequities and create pathways for leadership, success, and resilience.

What keeps transpiring differently than first anticipated is the unexpectedly strong feedback from parents, particularly the overwhelming need for mental wellness support. Therefore, we are further prompting to adapt and expand our programming by adding more coping strategies and safe space components to support the emotional and mental well-being of our youth and families.

• Economic & Community Development - Foster Vision and Leadership: Cultivate self-confidence, goal-setting, and leadership skills through mentorship and workshops.

• Poverty Extinction - Mindfulness & Promoting Holistic Wellbeing: Support mental, emotional, and wellness activities, and safe spaces - Mindfulness and nutrition workshops

• Social Capital & Justice - Encourage Community Engagement: Empower youth to design and implement community projects, fostering civic responsibility and social impact.
