We host weekly and monthly outreaches at our Silverwater location and community centres assisting people in need, crisis and isolation. People attending receive a message of hope, free community lunch or dinner, grocery hampers, discount food pantry items and clothing from $1. Charity and referral organisations are able to book free shopping days for their clients and receive new clothing. We've recently expanded and opened an Op Shop and Care Centre in Merrylands. Last year, teams at C3Cares achieved the following for people in our local community: 5,000 meals, 3,000 hampers, 4,500 free clothing items, 266 people received crisis assistance and $160,000 in goods were distributed. This year, we have just launched our mobile food and clothing trailers to take services into local areas, to help more people in need and to build communities for the lonely.
