Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ozaukee County is Ozaukee County’s largest and only youth mentoring organization serving more than 150 children each year.  The organization matches children age five to seventeen to caring adult and older teen volunteers who serve as Big Brothers or Big Sisters, providing youth another source of support to help children reach their fullest potential. The one-on-one mentoring friendships are supported by trained degreed professionals using nationally established procedures and requirements to positively impact children’s development by helping them to do better in school, avoid drugs and alcohol and delinquency.  Since the organization was founded in 1974, more than 10,000 youth have been matched to a Big Brother or Big Sister in Ozaukee County.
