Bark Nation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in the Metro Detroit, MI area. Our Mission is simple: to end canine cruelty and save lives.  Every day, every week, every year. Every city and county and state we operate within. Through enforcement and enrichment and intervention. We strive to make this a more humane world for the dogs we serve.

Our organization focuses on providing support and enrichment to our local shelters, offering free spay/neuter services to pet owners within our community, and working with local enforcement entities to seize, shelter and place dogs that have been victims of dog-fighting or canine cruelty. Our biggest initative to date is our Pitness Protection shelter, which is a state of Michigan registered shelter that provides reprieve and safety to hundreds of survivors per year. 

We rely heavily on the support of animal lovers, advocates, and donors to help us carry out our mission. Your support to our organization and our mission would be truly life-saving for hundreds of resilient, brave, loving dogs (or as we call them, survivors) that have been victims of canine cruelty.
