Azaya Ranch Sanctuary is an animal rescue based in Northern California, dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and providing lifelong care for animals who have been neglected, abandoned, or are at risk of euthanasia.

Our work is hands-on and continuous. We provide daily, individualized care for dogs, pigs, and one very charismatic cat named Gizmo, many of whom have medical, behavioral, or age-related needs that make traditional adoption unlikely. Many of the animals we take in require ongoing veterinary care, rehabilitation, and a stable, low-stress environment to recover and thrive. For some, this means finding the right forever home. For others, it means a permanent place of safety.

What makes Azaya Ranch Sanctuary different is our commitment to long-term responsibility. We do not operate as a pass-through rescue. Every animal we take in becomes our responsibility for as long as they need, whether that is weeks, months, or the rest of their life.
