The Charity That Receives The Millionth Vote This Weekend Wins $1,000!

Arizona Students Recycling Used Technology, otherwise known as AZ StRUT, started in 1997 as concept by Intel and Motorola. They wanted to get used equipment to Arizona schools and non-profits that could benefit from them. AZ StRUT started partnering with schools and having some of their computer repair programs assist in the refurbishing efforts. In 1998 we officially became a 501(c)3 with the state of Arizona and we started providing A+ certification training to the teachers and these programs. We’ve also supported STEM programs with computer hardware and we continue to recycle all of the e-waste responsibly. Over 100,000 devices have been given to students and community members in need in the 25+ years since our creation.
