Argentine children who end up in foster care have experienced trauma, abuse and neglect.  Faith communities such as Palestra ONG are raising up these children in an atmosphere of emotional safety, encouragement and love.  We focus on educational fluency, athletics, music, art, life skills and emotional therapy to help stabilize their lives.  We stay with the children through young adulthood as they transition to higher education or jobs. Many of those that age up return as volunteers to help the newly arrived younger children. We are in need of a sewer line to our building and proper housing for these children in addition to the normal expenses of medical care, food, clothing, utilities and school supplies.
