Angel Wings Equine Rescue is a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming horses that have been neglected, abused, abandoned, starved, injured, or otherwise at risk—particularly horses heading toward the slaughter pipeline. They accept equines from law enforcement seizures, owner relinquishments, local auctions, and community situations .
