At A Path To Follow (APTF) our vision is to participate in a connected community where young people and families support each other in their mental health journeys. Our service contributes to that vision by pairing young community members with mental health related challenges with workforce peers who have their own living/lived mental health experience. We provide mental health peer support and advocacy to parents/carers and family members, and we integrate our peer program into existing recreational and sporting settings to support the holistic development of young people. APTF walks alongside peers in a personalised, flexible and inclusive way; providing support that is based in the needs and preferences of the peers requesting service.
