About us
We are a volunteer run, registered Charity organisation in Duncan BC, that offers a forever home for rescued farm animals who are abandoned, seized by the BC SPCA., or surrendered due to various circumstances. The Sanctuary was founded in September 2017 and we were the first Farm Sanctuary in Canada to be Accredited by the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries.
We currently care for over 170 residents including pigs, goats, sheep, cattle, mini horses, mini donkeys, chickens, geese, ducks, turkeys, peafowl, partridges, dogs, guinea pigs, and cats. We ensure all our animals are provided with the best quality care and a safe home where they are able to live out their natural lives.
