WithOurVoice, Inc. sponsors Children at the Well youth storytelling, a quality, independent program offered to the community free of charge. WithOurVoice is also developing a program called Power Tellers, based on Children at the Well, to be used in schools, in afterschool programs, and in other settings. Children at the Well is connecting tomorrow's leaders through storytelling. The program creates a community of encouragement for young people from diverse backgrounds to find their voice and learn to deliver an effective message through storytelling. The joyful experience of being deeply listened to and having your words attended to and valued is beyond compare. Children at the Well participants enjoy sharing their stories with audiences large and small. Children at the Well seeks to: • Help students gain insight into the rich diversity and complexity of the world • Help students explore traditional tales, and their personal stories, and see how they relate to issues they care about most • Help young people discover the language and skills to express themselves confidently before an audience • Provide experiences and tools to enable them to become leaders at school and in their communities.
