WNDA provides specialist support and practical help to over 5000 people living in West Norfolk every year. We work with everyone who needs us: from NHS hearing aid maintenance and support and specialist advocacy, advice and information for Deaf people who use British Sign Language (BSL) as their first language, to coffee mornings and CHAT Clubs (Conversation, Hearing Aids and Tea), the only Deaf led Swimming School in the UK, to volunteering in our award winning bookshop which raises money for the charity and contributes significantly to the local community . There's a service for everyone from families with newly diagnosed deaf babies, to elders living isolated lives due to hearing loss: our small local charity creates positve ripples which reach far beyond the service from our centres.
