Victory Community Centre (VCC) exists to support a thriving Victory Community through the provision of community-based and affordable health and social services, including a community nurse, Primary Health Addictions Specialist, and affordable acupuncture, massage and chiropractor services, as well as a Community Navigator focused on supporting former refugee and migrant communities. We offer koha-based activities and food security programmes, promoting food resilience through community gardening, composting, emergency kai parcels, community meals and education. VCC is based in the heart of Nelson's multicultural Toi Toi/Victory community and supports some of the most vulnerable whanau in our community. Many of these activities are community-driven, tapping into the talents, strengths and enthusiasm of local people. Beyond these initiatives, we host culturally enriching events such as our Matariki celebration. As a hub of advocacy and support, VCC fosters a thriving and inclusive environment where health, hope and possibility flourish.
