About us

The Snow Foundation is a collective voice for Wolfram syndrome patients, working towards a cure for Wolfram syndrome and the development of novel therapies for diabetes, vision loss, hearing loss, and neurodegeneration.

Rare Diseases…Common Problems

The Snow Foundation is the largest independent supporter of Wolfram syndrome (WS) research worldwide, playing a central role in advancing international collaborative efforts in WS research.  The Snow Foundation is leading a global movement of patients, families, doctors, and researchers who work together to improve the lives of everyone affected by Wolfram syndrome.

A treatment or cure for Wolfram syndrome would not only benefit patients with Wolfram syndrome but could ultimately assist all individuals suffering from neurodegeneration and diabetes. Sometimes, it is the rarer and less common diseases that pave the way for breakthroughs in understanding larger and more prevalent diseases. Ultimately, this is a matter of funding; the more financial resources allocated to research, the faster a cure can be discovered.
