The Mustard Seed of Central Florida is the region’s only furniture bank, working every day to help people rebuild their lives after hardship. For more than 38 years, we’ve provided essential household items and clothing to families and individuals recovering from disaster, homelessness, domestic violence, or personal crisis — anyone who needs a fresh start.

We help make a house a home, no matter someone’s income or circumstance. While 98% of the people we serve are at or below the federal poverty level, our services are not income-restricted. Crisis can affect anyone — and when it does, dignity, stability, and comfort matter.

Each year:

• 1,000+ families receive full household furnishings

• 1,400+ children receive their own beds, dressers, and safe spaces to sleep

• 2,800+ people move forward with renewed stability

• And through our recycling program, 4.6 million cubic feet of materials are diverted from landfills and transformed into community impact
