At The Last Resort Animal Sanctuary Inc., we are the place animals come when there is nowhere else left to go.

We specialize in the overlooked, the medically complex, the behaviorally misunderstood—the ones traditional shelters often cannot safely or sustainably support. These are not easy cases. They are, however, worthy of everything.

What makes us different is not just what we do—it’s how we do it.

Our sanctuary is intentionally designed as a calm, structured, boutique environment where animals heal physically and emotionally. Thoughtful routines, group-based socialization, enriched spaces, and individualized care plans allow each animal to stabilize, decompress, and begin again.

This is not rescue built on chaos.
This is rescue built on experience, precision, and deep respect for the animals in our care.

With over 30 years of hands-on rescue experience behind us, we’ve transitioned into a fully established 501(c)(3) public charity to expand our reach, increase transparency, and build something lasting—something that changes outcomes, not just moments.

Every contribution directly supports:
– Medical care for high-risk and urgent cases
– Daily care for 30+ animals currently in residence
– Nutrition, enrichment, and rehabilitation programs
– Safe intake for animals with no other placement options

We operate at capacity more often than not—because the need never stops.
