About us
Sunshine's Friends Cat and Dog Rescue serves central Maryland.
Our Mission (“the 5 R's") is to:
• RESCUE abandoned community cats and dogs in desperate situations;
• REHABILITATE sick, injured, and abused animals;
• REHOME cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies ready for permanent placement with suitable guardians;
• provide a loving REFUGE for cats and dogs that are not adopted; and
• REDUCE local shelter cat intake and euthanasia by promoting spaying/ neutering and providing assistance to pet guardians.
