Founded in 1987, the Wildlife Clinic at the Schuylkill Center is the only licensed wildlife rehabilitation clinic in Philadelphia which tends to sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife. In its 35+ years of rehab work, the Clinic has treated over 100,000 animals of more than 150 species, including birds, mammals, reptiles, and amphibians — some of them endangered and threatened. The Wildlife Clinic releases recovered patients back to their homes in the wild once qualified staff members are assured that they can thrive on their own. This lifesaving work is entirely donor-funded by those who care deeply about wild animal welfare. Your support helps our dedicated staff and volunteers annually care for more than 3,000 wild animals who may otherwise never reach help in time.
