Radio 2RPH aims to inform, educate and entertain New South Wales’ listeners. The radio reading service features readings from the top daily newspapers, international and Australian magazines, and books for those with print disabilities, lack of access to published material or lifestyles that limit time for reading and remaining informed. We: Reduce isolation – Through the power of radio we help more Australians increase their participation in the community and reduce their loneliness; Empower listeners – By providing information that assists those with a disability or managing their mental health or who are older to access appropriate supports and services; Inform the public – In driving an understanding of the issues facing our Community of Interest and the challenges of living with mental illness, disability or being older; Enrich our listeners – By presenting enlightening and entertaining programs that nourish and rejuvenate the listener, supports an understanding of their place in the world and fosters participation in public discourse.
