Compassion, Care, and Second Chances for Pets

Pet Adoption League of Gem County is dedicated to protecting and improving the lives of cats and dogs throughout Gem County, Idaho. Our mission is to reunite lost pets with their owners and to find safe, loving homes for animals who would otherwise have none. We promote the compassionate treatment of animals through direct care, sheltering, and community-based support services.

We advance this mission by providing temporary shelter and medical care for homeless animals, assisting families who may be struggling to keep their pets, operating a pet food pantry to reduce economic hardship, and implementing a spay/neuter program to address feral cat overpopulation. Through collaboration, education, and humane intervention, Pet Adoption League works to ensure animals are treated with dignity while strengthening the bond between pets and the community they serve.
