Overview

Oasis Homes is a transformational, multi‑phase community initiative designed to meet the urgent needs of vulnerable women, expectant mothers, young families, and individuals experiencing housing instability in Spokane. Built on the mission of Mountain View Assembly of God to demonstrate the unconditional love of God through practical service, Oasis Homes will create a safe, supportive, and self‑sustaining campus that blends housing, childcare, education, and community development.

Project Vision

To provide a place of refuge, stability, and growth where individuals and families can rebuild their lives, gain essential skills, and experience a supportive community. Oasis Homes will serve as a long‑term investment in Spokane’s future by addressing housing shortages, strengthening families, and expanding community resources.

Key Components

1. Tiny Homes Community (24 Units)

A secure, supportive neighborhood of 24 tiny homes offering transitional housing for women and families in crisis. Residents will receive:

• Safe, stable housing

• Life‑skills training

• Mentorship and community support

• Access to childcare and educational programs

2. Gymnasium & Multi‑Purpose Building

An 14,807 sq ft facility designed for youth programs, recreation, community events, and outreach. This space will serve as a hub for relationship‑building, health, and positive engagement.

3. Community Extension Building

A 4,013 sq ft building dedicated to workshops, counseling, support groups, and fellowship activities. This space will equip individuals with tools for long‑term success.

4. Early Learning Center Expansion

A 10,183 sq ft expansion of the existing daycare into a full Early Learning Center, increasing childcare capacity and supporting working parents and Oasis Homes residents.

5. Sanctuary Expansion

A 20,065 sq ft expansion to accommodate growing attendance and provide space for classes, support groups, and community gatherings. This expansion strengthens the church’s ability to serve families holistically.
