Northwest Florida Great Dane Rescue’s mission is to help with the rehoming of displaced Great Danes throughout the Southeast. NWFLGDR is a registered non-profit with the state of Florida and a 501(c)3 charity. Donations are tax-deductible and always appreciated. NWFLGDR is owned and operated by a Board of Directors and a dedicated group of volunteers. We are foster-home based. Our foster homes are located throughout the Florida Panhandle and beyond - from Mobile, AL, to Jacksonville, FL. NWFLGDR is dedicated to saving and placing unwanted and neglected Great Danes into permanent homes. We carefully evaluate both the Dane and the potential family to ensure a proper placement for a forever outcome. Our goal is to be the voice for the voiceless. To educate on the importance of spay, neuter, shots and preventatives. To encourage people to be advocates of the breed and report any potential neglect or abuse.
