Welcome to Max’s Animal Rescue HS. We are the oldest in GA & all volunteer no kill facility. We are an IRS determined 501c3 charitable organization. Very small very rural rescue shelter located in SE Georgia. As of July 2022 our organization has helped 31,000 animals to date. We are licensed in several states. Our organization is committed to Education and outreach along with keeping pets safe, happy and healthy while they wait to be placed in a forever home or transported to a partner rescue/shelter facility. We help the animals their owners and the communities they live in. We help with numerous things on base by base cases including: Pet intake Pet Placement Referrals Veterinarian care Spay & Neuter Vaccinations Microchips Numerous other things Always willing to lend a hand when we can We help Dogs, Cats, Goats, Pigs, Reptiles, birds and small wildlife tortoise/turtles. We also are available for educational purposes here or off site.
