Loving Homes Dog Rescue offer safety to abandoned and unwanted dogs throughout the UK who otherwise would be put to sleep. We are a registered and licenced Charity based in Orkney, Scotland and have our own kennel base with excellent facilities to allow our residents to enjoy freedom and stimulation whilst in our care. Our aim is to find these dogs loving Forever homes whilst offering full Rescue Back Up and lifelong support. We also work with foster carers across the UK to help assess our dogs and find them the right homes.

Operating our own kennel base incurs large overheads, along with the vetwork required for the dogs, transportation. Often these days dogs are coming in with medical issues which require attention, we estimate the minimum spend per dog to be about £600 and this can stretch to thousands on occasions.
