Lions Assistance Dogs is a national organisation providing Assistance Dogs to people in need including:
Hearing Assistance Dogs to people who are deaf or hard of hearing
Diabetic Alert Dogs to people living with type 1 diabetes
Psychiatric Assistance Dogs to Veterans of the Australian Defence Force with PTSD.
Based in the Adelaide Hills, highly-qualified trainers travel around the country to deliver Assistance Dogs at no cost to the recipient. We rely heavily on donations to provide our life-changing services.
There are currently over 170 active Lions Assistance Dogs around Australia.
